Our community clinic offers free health check-ups with qualified & experienced volunteer doctors. Have a question, need medical guidance; give us a call for assistance. No need to worry about insurance or status. Our charity clinic is open to everyone. Easy access to quality healthcare for the community is what we believe in.

Virendra Mathur Community Clinic (IH–SAHARA Initiative)

India House is proud to announce a significant advancement in its commitment to community healthcare.

Our charity clinic, now renamed the Virendra Mathur Community Clinic, has entered into a strategic collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Strategic Alliance for Healthcare Access, Resources, and Advocacy (SAHARA). This partnership marks the launch of an expanded initiative known as IH–SAHARA.

 

About IH–SAHARA

SAHARA is a collaborative healthcare network focused on expanding equitable access to high-quality medical care through strategic partnerships and community engagement.

Through IH–SAHARA, India House and SAHARA will work together to establish and operate free charitable clinics across the Greater Houston area, increasing access to essential healthcare services for underserved communities.

 

Our Mission

The mission of IH–SAHARA is to provide accessible, high-quality primary and specialty medical care to those in need.

We are committed to delivering:

  • Compassionate and culturally sensitive care
  • Preventive and wellness-focused services
  • Access to both primary care and specialty services, including:
    • Cardiology
    • Psychiatry
    • Gastroenterology
    • Additional specialties as resources allow
