The event is followed by a free yoga practice by Dr. Nagendra-Ji on August 30, 8 a.m., at the Lillie and Hugh Roy Sculpture Garden at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston
Dr. H.R. Nagendra is vice-chancellor of Swami Vivekananda Yoga Research Foundation (S-VYASA) in Bangalore.
Dr. Nagendra, who once worked as a researcher for NASA, has published many papers on yoga and its applications. He established S-VYASA as a yoga university in 1975 and has been studying and teaching yoga since.
